NON-CONSIDERATION OF THE NEGATIVE IMPACTS OF INVESTMENT DECISIONS ON SUSTAINABILITY FACTORS
In accordance with Article 12 of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/1288 of 6 April 2022 on the disclosure of sustainability-related information in the financial sector, Biz Capital SGOIC, S.A. informs that, at the moment, it does not consider any negative impacts on sustainability factors in its investment decisions.
Without prejudice to the foregoing, the Company may, specifically, consider these impacts in the management of certain funds, complying for this purpose with the disclosure legally required in the instruments of incorporation.
Biz Capital is committed to promoting a culture of environmental, social and financial responsibility, fully recognizing the relevance of sustainability factors, which have been progressively integrated into decision-making processes.
The failure to consider these negative impacts on sustainability factors in its investment decisions is essentially related to the size of the Company, which does not reach any of the thresholds set out in Article 4(3) and (4) of Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 November 2019,and the proportionality of the requirements to define and implement methodologies and metrics adapted to the movable and venture capital nature of the assets managed, in accordance with the formal reporting requirements recommended by the recently adopted sustainability regulations. No date has yet been set for the completion of this process.
